Less than a month until the run. I don't want to call it a race. I am not racing to win this thing at all. I am running this to FINISH. I waited until my kids hit the sack before heading off on my run for today. It is a long run day - 10 miles.
It is nice that my mileage is starting to go down. With less than a month until the race, I need to taper my mileage down. In October, I would have never said that 10 miles was a short run, but I have finally got to that point. I decided I wanted to run to the square in Murfreesboro and then back. My IPOD Plus was going to track the mileage for me. I basically would run out and then turn around at half way and run back. I got my fanny pack and headed out. I had some of the gummy food left from the 20 mile run that I took at the half way point. (5 miles). This probably helped me out. I felt great. Didn't get too tired. This was an uneventfun run. Nothing too exciting happened. I made it to the square, turned around and ran back.
