Well that's it. No more training. I ran the final 2 miles this evening. It seemed like such a short distance, but I forgot to eat my normal banana before heading out. I actually could tell in my run. I tryed to focus on keeping the pace. This has been my focus the last few weeks. Tomorrow morning I will be off to the Expo to get my number. Actually took my weight this morning to see how much I am down. I was 187 pounds. I started at 210 pounds in October. That is 23 pounds so far. I wonder what it will be after running the 26.2 miles.
2.00 Miles, 18:39 minutes, 9:18 minute mile pace, 301 calories
I need to make sure I run slower when I start out.
Just watched the weather for Saturday. They are predicting "heavy storms" on Saturday with Heavy Downpours, with frequent lightning and hail. Channel 2 said that it is all about the timing. As the hours go on the chances of the thunderstorms get higher. Hopefully, the storms will hold off till after 12:00.
I TIVOd the Channel 5 news to see what they say about the weather as well. They actually had a news segment about the upcoming race. Over 32,000 people have signed up for Marathon and Half Marathon. They have started building the course and the finish line. Exactotrac put some rain coming through before 6:00 and then possibly holding off till after the race. But, the storms are suppose to produce hail, tornados, strong winds and heavy winds. We'll see what happens.
I also TIVOd Channel 17. They are reporting 36,000 expected to run! That is crazy! There will be a group of FT. Campbell Soliders that will run in honor of the memory the solider who died last year.
Found out one of our partners was sick and came into the office anyways. I hope I do not get it. That is the last thing I need is to get sick.
