April 13 - Less than a week left

Only a week until the actual race. I am trying to run right at or a bit faster than race pace. I spent a few minutes this evening and read through some "Common Mistakes" by first timers. Some on list:

Starting too fast. Not sticking with your pace. Letting the addreline take control.

Drinking too much water before the race.

Trying something new for the race. Not follow your same routine for the long runs. Including the same food, same music, etc. Keep everything the same.

I am will try to not fall into any of these.

Run today:

4.00 miles, 37:10 minutes, 9:17 minute mile pace, 601 miles

Ran it too fast. Am I going to need to work on my pace. I don't want to fall into the trap of starting off too fast.
