May 12 - Intervals?

Back when I was just starting to run, I ran some intervals at the start. I really struggled with the intervals. I had scheduled to run intervals today. I had 45 minutes of the intervals. Would I be able to handle it after 7 months of training? I decided to run the intervals based on the songs on my IPOD. I would run as fast as possible for one song and then run a very slow job for another song.

I headed out. The intervals felt good. I actually ran the intervals pretty good. At the end of the interval time I decided to do 2 songs at a quick speed till the end. I finally have the intervals taken down.

45:03 minutes, 10:44 minute mile pace, 4.19 miles, 630 calories

The pace was slower than normal due to the slow job during the intervals.
